Ekiti State University is now reveling in its new status as one of the nation’s universities with all programmes fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). This is sequel to the outcome of the accreditation team, who visited the institution in November 2012.
The result revealed that of the 45 programmes run by the university, 34 have been granted full accreditation, while 11 have interim accredited status. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Patrick Oladipo Aina, attributed the feat to God, the hard work of staff and support of the state government.
